THE DINING PHILOSOPHY

A meal at Raht is a conversation first.

Every guest who stays at Raht Manmatha has a brief conversation with our team before their meals are prepared. We ask about preferences, dietary choices, what you’re in the mood for — and then we build the meal around that. Not around a fixed menu that you pick from.

Our sample menus are offered as a starting point — a way of showing guests what a Raht meal looks and feels like. They can be taken as-is, or any dish can be swapped, removed, or replaced based on what you’d actually like to eat.

The same philosophy extends to breakfast. Every morning, our team checks in with you about what you’d like — the menu changes based on your mood, not ours.

The Courtyard

Twelve sandstone arches framing a candlelit table. The estate's most iconic dining setting — unhurried, theatrical, and deeply private. Most guests who dine here once ask for it again the next night.

Ratira

When the rains arrive, dinner moves inside to Ratira — its traditional jhoola at the centre of the room, warm stone walls, candlelight. An intimate setting that feels like dining in a private haveli.

SUNDOWNER

The golden hour deserves the right setting.

As the light turns amber over the Aravallis, the estate shifts into a quieter, warmer version of itself. Sundowners at Raht are set up at one of three locations — chosen based on your preference, the weather, and what kind of evening you’re after.

Each sundowner includes 4–5 curated snacks and one welcome beverage per person. Corkage is available if you’d like to bring your own bottle.

Proposals

Raht Manmatha has quietly become one of the most sought-after proposal settings in Udaipur. We set the scene — florals, candlelight, the arch — and stay completely out of the way for the moment itself.

Intimate Celebrations

For groups of up to 8, the full estate dining experience can be reserved for a long private dinner — the Raht Long Table, set under the arches, with a meal designed collectively around the group's preferences.
